The North Tongu District supported some displaced young ones of the Akosombo dam spillage entering Senior High school for the first time. The Assembly gave out items such as mattresses, buckets, bathing soap, provisions etc to them to aid them ease into the system easily considering the devastation that had occurred. The families of these students were so much grateful to the Assembly for easing the burden of having to provide all these items
